I will teach you to train your dog using positive training methods which are effective, based on science, and fun!

Learn how to train your dog (or cat, rabbit, horse, etc…). We will explore different ways to get behavior using positive training. My goal is not just to teach you to teach your animal specific skills, but to teach you how to use your new training skills to teach anything!

You will learn how to get behavior, communicate with your animal, and effective use of positive reinforcements. There are many ways to get behavior, we will explore them. There are also many ways to reinforce the behavior we want to happen. Positive reinforcement means we provide a reinforcement that our learner wants and for which the learner is willing to work. A reinforcer can be food, toys, play, whatever the learner wants. People often mistakenly assume that any training system that uses treats, uses those treats to bribe the learner. Instead it is a reinforcement for doing something correctly. You’ll also learn why a salary isn’t the best way to get great work.
